Bitrix24 gives every seat away free and charges you in gigabytes instead
Every other free CRM on this site counts your colleagues. Bitrix24 does not: its free plan puts no cap on the number of users, so a whole small company can work in one CRM without a per-seat bill (as of July 2026).
The bill arrives as storage instead. Free accounts get 5 GB in total across records, attachments and call recordings, and that fills more quietly than a seat counter ever would. What follows is how the free plan behaves once the team is on it, which sales features are locked away, and why the first paid step is a $49 monthly commitment rather than a small increment.

63 out of 100, carried by a pillar nothing else here scores on
63 puts Bitrix24 in our Usable band and fourth in the CRM category, just behind Zoho CRM at 65 and well ahead of HubSpot at 52. Generosity at 72 is the highest of any hosted free plan we score in this category, and it is earned by the one structural decision nobody else copies: unlimited users.
Feature depth at 62 is the counterweight, and it is worth being precise about why. Judged as a bundle, free Bitrix24 gives away more product than anything else here: CRM, tasks and projects, chat, calendars and a contact centre in one place. Judged strictly as a CRM, which is the comparison this pillar makes, it is the thinner end, because sales automation, multiple pipelines, telephony and the app marketplace are all paid. Free Bitrix24 records your deals competently and does not help you work them.

72/100
The only free plan in this category with no cap on how many people use it, so a whole small company can work in one CRM for nothing (as of July 2026). Storage binds instead: 5 GB in total across records, attachments and call recordings, which fills more quietly than a seat counter ever would.

Free covers basic CRM, tasks and projects, team chat, calendars and a contact centre, which is more product at once than anything else here gives away. Judged as a CRM specifically it is the thinner end: sales automation, multiple pipelines, telephony and the app marketplace are all paid, so free Bitrix24 records deals without helping you work them.

No card, no seat cap, no time limit, and contacts and deals export to CSV. Against that, 5 GB is a wall you meet rather than a warning you get, the first step up is a $49 a month commitment for up to five users instead of a small per-seat increment, and the self-hosted edition is a paid product rather than a free way out.

G2 4.1 and Capterra 4.2 (checked 24 July 2026) are the lowest pair in this category, but they rate a bundled workspace, not the free CRM plan, and we hold nothing written by free users. Two providers landing in the same place is worth something, so this sits at the middle rather than below it.
Scored July 2026. How we calculate the free plan score.
5 GB is the limit, and the user count is not
The seat cap is the one limit that is not here, so everything below is what fills its place (as of July 2026).
- 5 GB of storage in total. This is the wall. It covers attachments, documents and call recordings, and a contact centre that records calls will find it faster than a team that only logs notes.
- No sales automation. Trigger-based follow-ups and field updates are paid, which is the feature most people mean when they say a CRM saves them time.
- One pipeline. Multiple pipelines are a paid feature, so a business selling two things two different ways is squeezed into one process.
- No telephony and no marketplace apps. Both sit above free, so extending the tool means upgrading rather than installing.
Two things about that storage ceiling deserve saying plainly. It is a wall you meet rather than a warning you receive, so treat 5 GB as a number to monitor rather than one to discover. And it is shared across the whole workspace, which means the free plan's best feature, everyone in one place, is also what spends its scarcest resource fastest.
The other cost is not in the pricing table. Bitrix24 packs a CRM, a project tool and a chat app into one interface, and new users regularly spend their first session looking for the CRM underneath everything else.
Free to $49 for five people, with nothing smaller in between
Bitrix24 prices per organisation with a user cap on each plan rather than per seat, which is unusual and changes how you should read the cards below. You are not buying seats, you are buying a bracket.
Basic is $49 a month billed annually for up to five users, and it is where sales automation, more storage and telephony appear. Standard is $99 for up to 50 users, Professional is $199 for up to 100, and Enterprise starts at $399 for 250. Read those numbers per person and they get cheaper as you grow, which is the opposite of every per-seat CRM here: fifty people on Standard is under $2 each.
The awkwardness is the first step. Going from free to Basic is a $49 monthly commitment even if you only needed one automation, and for a three-person team that is a real jump rather than a trickle. Most people upgrade for sales automation, with storage the second reason and telephony the third. If your team is large and your needs are modest, the flat-rate model is the best value in this category. If your team is tiny and you need one paid feature, it is the most expensive way to buy it.

Is Bitrix24 really free? Yes, until your files reach 5 GB
A real free plan with a ceiling you will meet. Fine until you grow into it.
Yes, within limits, and the limit is storage rather than headcount, which makes this the right answer for a specific and fairly common situation: more people than budget.
A ten-person business that logs calls, tracks deals and chats in one place can run on free Bitrix24 without paying anyone, and no other tool on this page allows that. A team that attaches proposals, contracts and call recordings to every deal will meet 5 GB inside a year and then choose between clearing files and committing $49 a month. Anyone whose sales process depends on automated follow-ups is on a paid plan from the start, because free records deals without working them.
If you want something calmer and more focused, Zoho CRM's free plan trades unlimited seats for three of them and a tidier CRM. Free Bitrix24 alternatives lists the rest, and the best free CRM software ranks the category, including the self-hosted options that cap neither seats nor storage.
Frequently asked questions about Bitrix24
Is Bitrix24 really free for unlimited users?
Yes. The free plan places no cap on user count, which no other free CRM we track does (as of July 2026). It covers basic CRM, tasks and projects, team chat, calendars and a contact centre. The binding limit is 5 GB of total storage.
What does the free plan not include?
Sales automation, multiple pipelines, telephony and marketplace apps are all on paid plans (as of July 2026). That means free Bitrix24 stores and displays your pipeline well and does not automate any of it, which is the usual shape of a free CRM tier.
What does Bitrix24 cost after the free plan?
Basic is $49 a month for up to 5 users, Standard $99 for up to 50, Professional $199 for up to 100 and Enterprise from $399 for 250, all billed annually (as of July 2026). Pricing is per organisation with a user cap, not per seat, so larger teams pay far less per person.
